This is the time of year when we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus. This is one of the greatest moments in history. I also like to remember this season as it pertains to Our Lady, the Virgin Mary. Without her courage and faith, this season would not even be in existence. Being that all people were given free will, she could have run away from the Lord. Her acceptance of the task made this time of year possible. If this was a football game, she would be the sponsor. She didn’t have to accept the Lord’s will. She could have taken off and ran away. Instead she choose to follow the will of God, and become the mother of our savior. The world had the reason to rejoice because of Mary. This holiday season is about the family. Jesus, the king of kings, was born. The love he we show to the world started with his Mother’s love of God. Just as we learn from our parents, we should learn from the Blessed Virgin, that we all need to take the step forward when called upon. God will show us the way if we just believe in him. So, with all this said, I pray. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with the. Blessed are you amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. Pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
