“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” Galatians 2:20
With all of our world passing by so quickly, we tend to believe that we can get by without faith and without asking what our true purpose for the day should be. I know that I personally get going so fast that my days become a blur, sometimes I don’t even remember what I worked on, or the conversations that I had. That is not how we were intended to be, we are supposed to be sharing our lives with God, working through Him to enrich our days, not squander them. Yes, we have demands in life, we have to pay our bills, and tend to ourselves, but we don’t have to do it with such haste and impatience that we forget we are here for a higher purpose, or calling. We get caught up in daily routines that we forget to stop, praise the One who made the day, and just be in the moment. The fact that we want to be in control of everything that is happening in our lives leaves very little room to let go, and trust that God is paving the way, even through the tough times. He wants us to trust that He has a method to his ways, and that even in our times of great sorrow, he will lead us to prosperity, if we are just willing to let go of the control. I am not saying let the world pass you by, but know that with each day, there is a message being sent, there is a reason for everything, and that having faith in God will help you through ever single situation in life, good and bad. Yes, you may want to have that extra time, or not have to be in that “meeting to have another meeting”, but there is a purpose for you being there, and you don’t have to know the whole story yet. Trust that He is putting you where you are supposed to be. Try to listen for the messages in the moment, because that will ensure you are on the true path. It truly is about sacrificing our control in life to be one with the Creator, the Father, the King of all Kings. Think about that, he gave his faith in us up on the cross, shouldn’t we show the same respect back by giving our control in life up to Him. And, is it not a great gift that we don’t have to try and make this path for ourselves? Is that not a great stress relief? We don’t have to have the weight of the entire world on our shoulders, we don’t have to carry that burden, we just have to rely on God and be faithful, and have faith.
Lord, thank you for being my guiding path in life. You are truly a wonderful God and deserve all the praise one can give. Thank you for guiding my steps in life, and show me the patience in my day to understand the moments you are bringing to me. Be with everyone who sees this message, and bestow upon them the same blessings that you have so wonderfully brought to my house. Amen.
God Bless You All.
