Hidden Blessings

“God is our refuge and strength, and ever-present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1

For the last few days, I have been fighting a sinus infection and a head cold. It has brought me down in the speed department, and really has had me in a slightly crabby mood. Lets face it, sometimes when you are just not feeling up to speed, you just are in that mood.

Along with all of that, my wife is taking on a new job in her life, and we are having to shift things around with the babies, and there is just all this stuff going. Needless to say, it is a busy time in the Sauls house, and we are making it, but struggling. We are not living in the lap of luxury, and having to make ends meet, just as with a lot of others in the world.

Then came today. It was such an amazing day, seeing the realization of what God has in store for me and my family laid out in front of me. The school where my daughter attends was doing some amazing things on our behalf to help us keep her in the school she is in. Next week, we were going to have to move her into a new place, have her life upheaved, but unbeknownst to us, they were working miracles to help us not have to do that. It is a blessing to my family, and trust me, today, I felt the need to share.

I mention this because just last week, we, the wife and I, were just struggling to figure everything out. The juggling of life, bills, work, home, it was something that we really had to evaluate, and to be honest, we were not sure of the directions to go. Even in her job hunting, she started that on a Monday, got the interview on a Thursday and she starts next week. I have been asking GodĀ for strength to make it through all of this, and just put us on the correct path…. then today.. bam!

For me, there is still work to do on my end, there is no doubt, but my faith has been strengthened this week, that is for sure. I can not stop saying how blessed I am at this very moment in time. I will be praying for everyone to have the same blessings that have been bestowed upon me to you and your family as well.
