I took the day off of work today. It is more important being where I am today than anywhere else. Today, my family needed me.
I would do anything for them. They are my world. So, on this first day of Lent, I have to ask the question, isn’t God also my family? Well, the obvious answer is yes. So, why is it so hard for me to do anything for Him? I should not struggle with the things that He asks me to do, just like my family.

I pray, this Lent, I can be better at listening to what God is calling me to do daily.
